 At the back of the oldest temple of Kuching, the hill is known as Bukit Mata Kuching. The oldest spot of Kuching Business centre was around this area. The Kuching probably arise from here.

Some peole said , there is an existing old well( till today), and the Hakka said' Kuchian' as thery refered to the water source...old well

Do you think the name of Kuching city( in Sarawak) is from other link? ( note: there was no proof of cat and local people called cat Pusa, and surely not Kuching)

Special Food, Banana, Kuching, Sarawak

If you zoom 10 times and focus at the left lower corner of this photo, it is the zone of restaurants, just over the left as one drive down the hill of Banhock road, Kuching.

There is a restaurant hanging a whole bundle of bright yellow Banana right next to the counter.

Those who used to that place naturally observed, then pick one of the best Banana, twist it and proceed with
the consumption without any question asked.
