Golden land, Sarawak, Chapter 23

Golden Land, Chapter 23 , Strong Hill - Strong man

'I went to Immigration Department yesterday and met this diligent guy
who completed more than double of passport application cases as compare to the privilege group.'
Mr. S M Bong sounded very proud and happy. It was like he had done a patriotic act to Sarawak.

"Have you observed a man who is six foot tall ?" I teased him.

' Many women would fall in love with this type of handsome, hardworking man.
Oh yes, he has a charming smile.' Mr. Bong is keen to observe the natural beauty
of this world recently.

In this golden land, where people used to live together with many different type of races,
various skin colours, people from all corners fo the world, friends speaking in absolutely different
languages. the languages differed so much in a way that lovers finally used the most
way--use the common language, English.

It is not a problem at this modern day to translate various type of languages such as Swedish
to English, also easy with experts help with modern computer tool to achieve
a true and lovely stories in all languages.

That is the modern status of Sarawak, the golden land. People of Sarawak is all over the world now.

With the special advantage of multilingual, people of Sarawak traveled through out the whole world
.
There are experts in Spanish language, many work in Germany, Russia, Italy, France.

Speaking of France, almost all my friends think of perfume and wonderful LV ( Louis Vuiton)
leather bags. It is so attractive that a friend Mr. M Chai laughed when his wife bought 5
LV bags on the spot.

Mr. S. M. Bong interrupted my day dream as he happily raised his voice and he said,
' Rajah, King James Brooke was not a king yet when he sent his men to help the Gagoi village
near Bau town.'
' Due to historical war tradition.' Mr. bong tried to to put himself at a neutral position, as if he is sitting
on a tall wall watching 2 gangs fighting.' The Iban warriors attacked the Bidayu late 1838. that is why the strongest soldiers, fighters of the Bidayu tribe franked the head man and retreated to
Gagoi hill.'

'It is possible that the English fighters and the leaders of James Brooke respected the
Bidayu heros and suggested the name Mr. Hill to one of the strong fighters who save their chief
from being decapitated by the Iban warriors.'

" Was it true that three thousand three hundred people killed in a day with long knives
of Iban ? where on earth they got the knives" I asked hastilily as I was puzzled by the
stronger weapons demonstrated by the Iban group in 1838.

'They made their own parang, long knives. even today they still make wonderful sharp knives
but I bought small knife for my kitchen and garden. Good knives are frequently stolen.'

"Do you mean they are capable of making their own steel ? "

' There is a place at the foot of the hill of Damai Santubong, where an old man lives
alone for more than 60 years, His wooden house which he reparied frequently is
few hundred years old made of iron wood, Billian wood poles structure. He told me that
his ancester made wonderful steel with iron ore shipped in from China.'
Bong added.

" Why they did not import iron ore from Australia, England, Sweden ?" I tried to test him
by more question.

'You must be kidding, trade  established for thousand of years between Sarawak and China.
Do you remember the name Sarawak is originated from Chinese working on
Antimony metal in Sarawak.'

I was happy with his answer. I thought of Mr. Hill, the hard working, handsome, strong and fit fellow at the Kuching Immigration department. Good people are precious resources of Sarawak, no wonder this is a golden land.

Golden Land, Sarawak, Chapter 22

Golden Land ,  Sarawak,  chapter 22  Power Distance Index

Sarawak is very rich in natural resources.
Rajah, King James Brooke fought pirates and achieved disappearance of
physical pirates. With the modern technology, computerization, automation,
robots usage, internet utilization and multiple methods of transportation, more than\ninety percent of the wealthy resources are taken by extremely powerful government 'leaders'.

Mr. S. M. Bong told me to travel and see our lovely world.
'  Go to Europe, North east Asia, IndoChina, South Pacific, Oceania and see with your own eyes and compare the situation of lovely democracy and in contrast with some countries
which is a sort of modern slavery.'

''What do you mean by modern slavery ?'' I asked Mr. S. M. Bong

' You live at your own house yet you cannot have any say if a powerful
government tried to use the name of government devepment plan and kick you out of your house .'
Bong gave an example.
' For example, a round of 12 inches cheese Tiramisu cakes is on the table to symbolize
the total wealth for all the people. The crooked powerful leader of leaders took away 90% and a dozen of
household members have to share the remnant small piece of Tiramisu. You are one of them.'
smiled and nodded his head at me to signify that : I told you so

Sarawak, ibnspite of all the gold and riches, is within the worst power Distance index.
'' What do you mean by Power Distance Index ? "
Bong smiled proudly at me as if he had won the battle of knowledge gaining race against me.
' Power distnace index disclosed that Sarawak, a state of Malaysia is the worst in the world
of people starving from all resources, including wealth, health facilities and all services because there is a group that taken away the majority of the resources and what left behind is just peanuts.'

" that remind me of the ex president who is dealing with peanut--Ex president Carter. I met another gentleman who is the high commissioner of New Zealand to Cook Islands, and his name is Mr. John Carter."

Bong said, ' I am telling you a serious situation and an important matter yet you are making fun of my
knowledgeable remarks.'

" Please explain in simple term the meaning of power Distance index, the word index usually scarced
away our innocent natural abilility to pay attention and retain interest in the topic."

S. M. Bong sighed and  stretched out his both arms pointing towards the sky and did his stretching exercise, and he continued, ' A high ranking officer with bought title Mr. so and so and his wife
Datin so and so cheated by sales of land to the govennent port authority and tax payers
money all ruined, that is only one of the numerous example of ' tolerance' or impotence of the
people in term of asking for their human right, basic survival right.'

" Do you indicate the Cow Farm incidence of Malaysia ? is that a good example of using tax payer money to start a public people's project of raising animals, yet the money was taken by the appointed manager and used the money for five stars own resorts dwelling and more over, used public money for her own enjoyment. ?"

He expressed broad smile like the tail of peacock, and he said,'' Just read from the google search through the internet, then you will surely enjoy  reading, knowing the wonderful work of a special group of people
in Malaysia, especially in Sarawak--the golden land.

Golden Land, sarawak, Chapter 19 , Detectives

There is a legend about detective Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. I would
like to share the most possible source of the characters link to Kuching, sarawak.

One of the link most likely is the great name, Alfred R Wallace, who was great even
though he had only completed part of junior high school education due to unfortunate
event happened to his family financial situation.

 Let me tell you more..........

Golden land, Sarawak, Chapter 19  Detective, Dr. Walllace

31 years old is considered a very young age for a great scientist
like Alfred R Wallace.

He was a gentle giant helping to put Sarawak, the golden land
vividly on the map of the world. It is the brand new era of human
history now as the internet is just at your finger tip. Just click on
google search and type the word Alfred R Wallace Sarawak then,
the photo of the great naturalist is right in front of us.

Girl friend of King James Brooke of Sarawak Angela) used to visit
a villa at the Siniawan mountain. The same mountain is the
favorite of Alfred R Wallace, who worked diligently to display
the best possible picture of evolution of man kind and living
kingdom.

The more I read about Alfred R Wallace, the more I admired him.
No Wonder many other scientist honoured him by such great
mark like Wallace crater on the moon.

Sea trench of Wallace is another one of numerous example of
proof of admirers who happily put his name on the physical existance
of the world, earth, and the whole Cosmos.

His great idea will live for ever. I find peace whenever I read his
book. Just the kind of love for nature that is as free as Oxygen
that we breath every day.
